Change and innovation
As an experienced coach I know how to give direction and direction to employees and ensure that they continue to develop, also during change and innovation processes.
Innovation of products, services and processes are also part of my specialization and expertise. By looking at working methods and processes in different ways, I am able to uncover areas that offer room for improvement and innovation.
Change by and continuous innovation requires knowledge of existing processes, as well as a good understanding of people inside and outside an organization, the underlying dynamics and the culture. To convert a business strategy into successful solutions, I make an analysis in which the core of the issue is clear so that change can take place through interventions.
In organizations I am responsible for mapping and guiding business processes by coaching cross-functional teams. I opted for the Design Sprints method, because the teams and the intended end result were best suited for this.
Processes are important, but good team dynamics, room for growth, improvement and innovation are central. Because of my open way of communicating, I know how to motivate people to get the best out of themselves and embrace change.
Relevant training courses and certificates are Certificates: Design Sprints COIN innovation framework HBO training Innovation and change management.

I consider myself a storyteller first and foremost.
My college background is in Business Administration and Marketing Management where I quickly became fascinated with the intersections of business strategy and marketing and the importance of thorough research and validation of the problem and opportunity space, what problems customers were in need of a better solution for and why.
My tech background started in the early 2000's as an account manager for a hosting and internet service provider, where I saw first hand what good websites help companies achieve as a marketing and sales tool.
I later went on to work for tech startups taking on marketing functions, SEO/SEM and content strategy work when these terms and schools of thoughts were just becoming a thing.
From there I was a Product Facilitator for FIAT helping train over 200 dealerships and the mid-Atlantic business center on product value propositions and new sales processes and tools that could help them provide the best possible shopping experience for customers.
I eventually wanted to have a larger role in defining the product and offerings and spent the next 3 years with FordDirect working as a Product Solutions Manager for the Innovation Lab where were researched and validated prototypes for web based lead, marketing, inventory management, website and shopping tools. It was during this role that I gravitated heavily towards the importance of UX strategy, User Centered design, the Design Sprint, Lean UX and Startup principles of the top thought leaders in the space making the best online experiences and products.
I've worked in Product Design freelance for the last 4 years and worked with Jake Knapp of Google and AJ&Smart as mentors to get certified in Design Sprint and Opportunity Sprint certification and look forward to putting may background and skill sets to use for all future projects.

In 2016, shortly after returning home from years away I founded a Design Thinking community in Salt Lake City, UT where people could meet and learn how to apply Design Thinking methodologies in their own teams. It has been an incredible way to take on a leadership position in my community, explore best practices, work with interesting people doing amazing things, while growing a business I'm proud of.
The reason I'm telling you all this is because, now, I'm a facilitator and community builder with a passion for sharing what I've learned. I develop the environments for business leaders and teams to work at the top of their collective intelligence so they may address complex issues in a fun and engaging way. I believe organizations have all that they need to solve their own business model, marketing, innovation, and organizational development problems and my role is to help them solve them through engaging and impactful workshops and events.
